Israeli forces, on Thursday at dawn, detained several Palestinian civilians after invading homes in several occupied West Bank areas, the Palestinian Information Center reported.
Local sources stated that soldiers detained five Palestinian young men from various areas of the Bethlehem governorate, in the southern West Bank.
In the central West Bank city of Ramallah, Israeli forces re-detained senior Islamic Jihad official, Jum’ah al-Tayeh, from his home in Kafr Ni’ma town. Important to note that al-Tayeh was recently released, after spending 18 years in Israeli prison.
The Israeli army stormed Dura town in Hebron (al-Khalil), southern West Bank, and detained Katamel Akteel.
Israeli forces also took Mumen Dairya into custody from Aqraba town in Nablus, in the northern West Bank.
Hebrew media reported that the Israeli army detained four Palestinian young men in Sahel Salem area in Nablus, claiming they were in possession of Molotov cocktails and a homemade explosive device.
The Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS) stated that al-Tayeh spent 18 years in occupation prisons for resisting the occupation.
In occupied East Jerusalem, Israeli forces detained two Palestinian civilians from the Silwan neighborhood, the PPS further reported.
